Descendants of John MacLEOD and Isabella McLEOD

John and Isabella married on the Isle of Lewis about 1842, they had at least six children before emigrating to Upper Canada about 1858. They were settled in Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario by tthe 1861 census.



Patricia ROE, who's mother, Jessie Laverne MacINTOSH (1908-2004) was a direct descendant of the captioned couple. On Jessie's Pedigree Chart we see the following Ancestral families: MacINTOSH / GILLIES / MATHESON; John MacLEOD & Isabella MacLEOD & Alex GRAHAM & Mary MacIVER*.
