Descendants of Robert SHANNON & Jane BURROWS

Robert and Jane were both born in Ireland but all their children were apparently born in Huron County, Ontario, Canada. In the 1850s and 60s the family moved to Bruce County and Robert and Jane both passed away in Tara, Bruce County.
Son Samuel married Mary Wilson in Huron County 1861 and moved to Paisley, Ontario where he worked as a tinsmith. Their children were all born in Paisley and in the 1880's the family relocated to Moose Jaw Saskatchewan.

The 1867 Directory of Bruce County lists their son William as a Saddle Maker in Walkerton, Samuel as a Tinsmith in Paisley, Robert as a Blacksmith in Paisley, Isaac as a Tinsmith in Hanover and John farming on Lot 49, Concession 3 of Brant Township.



William Jacob HALLACK (1905=1996) was a direct descendant of the captioned couple, see his Pedigree Chart here.
