Peter and Agnes' son Peter Jr. was christened in Buckland Brewer, a civil parish in North Devon, England. Peter Jr's daughters. Ann married William DOWNS, Jane married Robert CREALOCK, both emigrated to Upper Canada in the 1840's and settled in Brighton Twp, Northuberland County.
Peter Jr's marriage transcript states the followng; Peter Saunders of Alwington Parish late Private in the 1st Reg. of Foot Guards who was wounded in the Battle of Waterloo and Ann Mallett, resident in this parish, widow of Sargent John Mallett of the 40th Reg. of Foot, killed in the Battle of Waterloo were married by T. H. Morrison in this Church by Banns.
