Descendants of Daniel McCAW and Isabella McCURDY

Daniel McCAW 1812-1892 and Isabella McCURDY 1815-1885 were married about 1838 in County Antrim, Ireland.In 1847, with atleast three little children, the family set out for North America landing in New York City. Their son Daniel Jr was born in 1848 on Staten Isand, NY. By 1851 they had relocated to Upper Canada settling in Hibbert Twonship, Perth County where two more children where apparently born and by 1861 they had finally settled down on Lot 7, Concession 1, Elderslie Township, just south of the village Paisley in Bruce County.

Douglas McCAW (1932-2012) was born and raised in Paisley, Ontario and married Nancy Myra FORRESTER also a native Paisley. See Doug's Pedigree Chart
