Descendants of Pierre LAVALLÉE and Marie Threse LEBLANC
Pierre LaVALLEE was born in 1636 in Rouen, Normandie, France and arrived in New France circa 1660. He married Marie Threse LeBLANC in Quebec City in 1665 and settled in Beauport, just east of Quebec City, Here they had a family of at least twelve children.
Pierre and Marie's ggggg grandson, Joseph "Rene" LEFEBVRE apparently had a fleeting relationship with Euphemia SAUNDERS resulting in a daughter Jean being born out of wedlock in Port Elgin on November 24, 1915. Jean was adopted by Daunt and Louisa METCALFE of Greenock Township, Bruce County and they named their chosen daughter Florence Mae METCALFE. |
