Descendants of Thomas DRYDEN & Elizabeth Margaret SCOTT
Thomas and Margaret were married in Roxburghshire, Scotland about 1823. In 1828, with two tiny children they emigrated to the United States where another two children were born. By 1832 they were on thwe move again and finally settled on Lot 15, Concession 2 of Eramosa Township, Wellington County, Upper Canada where four more children were added to the family. While most of the Clan stayed in Wellington County, son William, who married Elizabeth MAIR* broke away in 1883 and relocated to Bruce County where they settled on Lot 29, Concession A of Greenock Township, just west of the Village of Paisley.
Katharine DRYDEN was born in Greenock Township and raised in Paisley. Kathy married Hugh WATT also a native of Paisley and they currently live in Listowel, Ontario. She is a direct descendant of the captioned couple, see her Pedigree Chart.
