Ancestors of Euphemia "Phemie" SAUNDERS

This Ancestor Journal contains the ancestors of Euphemia SAUNDERS (1889-1962) in Ancestor or Ahnentafel Report format. The report includes all the direct ancestors, their spouses and children that I have been able to identify to-date. Interestingly all of these families trace their heritage to the Isle of Lewis in Scotland.

Phemie was born in Bruce Township, Bruce County and lived in both Port Elgin and Southampton. She had a daughter Jean born out of wedlock in Port Elgin in November of 1915. Jean was adopted by Daunt and Louisa METCALFE of Greenock Township, Bruce County and they named their chosen daughter Florence Mae METCALFE.
