Descendants of Alexander MacSTEVEN & Margaret ROSS

Alexander MacSTEVEN (MacSTEPHEN) born 1807 and Margaret ROSS married in Tarbet Parish in 1831. Alexander worked as a gardener at Geanies House, an estate south east of Tain, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. They raised a family of at least seven children. Their eldest son William emigrated to Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. He married Lilias Urquhart and started this branch of the MacStephen Family in The County. George MacSTEPHEN 1903-1993 and Lenora GOODMURPHY 1906-1993 farmed near the town of Picton
