Descendants of James LEDGERWOOD & Elizabeth WALLACE


James and Elizabeth were married in Ireland and arrived in Richmond Hill, York County, Ontario with at least seven of their children in 1851. Two more children were born here before they struck out for the Queen's Bush in Bruce County, Ontario, where they settled on Lots 45 & 46, Concession A, Greenok Township by 1854.

Their daughter Margaret b,1857 married James WATSON, in 1880. They farmed on Lot 32, Con, A of Brant Twp.

Wallace CRUICKSHANK b.1917, a resident of Detreoit, Michigan, was a direct descendant, see his Pedigree Chart
