Descendants of John GREAVES & Eleanor ROWSOME

"John Greaves and his wife, Eleanor. their infant son, Edward and daughter Jane came from Ireland aboard a sailing vessel in the early 1800's; presumably they landed in Quebec City. They came to Brockville, Ontario and proceeded to establish their home in this new land. They had a family of four sons and two (four) daughters who all grew up and married in that district. Three sons, Edward, George, and Samuel and their wives decided to come up to the new county of Bruce."


Ross ZIEGLER was born and raised in Elderslie Township where he farmed for years. Ross is currently retired in Paisley and is a direct descendant of this family. See his Pedigree Chart.
