Descendants of William PARKHOUSE & Ann COLWILL

William and Ann were married in the parish of Tamerton, Cornwall, England. The family apparently left England for North America about 1855 and settled in Brant Township. William and Ann moved to Kansas with their daughters Rose and Dora before 1861. Daughter Elizabeth Ann married John STODDART about 1858 and remained in Paisley; Josiah married Grace CRAWFORD and worked as a tailor in Paisley and then Tiverton. William was still in Paisley in 1867 but moved to Michigan where he died in 1895. Jane married Frank IRELAND in Paisley in 1861 and they immediately relocated to Kansas.
