Raoul LEFEBVRE dit LACROIX (1563- 1650) and 
	Magdeleine ERASBLE (1569-1620) were married about 1590 in Perche, Orne, Normandie, France. One of their sons, Mathieu married  
	Anne LeFRANCIOS and their son Louis LEFEBVRE (1627-1683) emigrated to North America circa 1650, settling in New France. Louis married 
	Catherine FERRE in Champlain, a settlement on the north shore of the St. Lawrence just east of Trois-Rivieres. Louis and Catherine's gggggg grandson, 
	Joseph "Rene" LEFEBVRE apparently had a fleeting relationship with  
	Euphemia SAUNDERS resulting in a daughter Jean being born out of wedlock in Port Elgin on November 24, 1915. Jean was adopted by 
	Daunt and Louisa METCALFE of Greenock Township, Bruce County and they named their chosen daughter 
	Florence Mae METCALFE. Another son Nicolas LEFEBVRE
	(160-1687) married Marie VAUVERIN in 1626 in Normandie, France and their son 
	Pierre LEFEBVRE (1627-1687) emigrated to North America circa 1650, settling in New France. Pierre married 
	Marie CHATAIGNE  in Beauport, a settlement on the north shore of the St. Lawrence just east of Quebec City. One of Pierre and Marie's descendants is 
	Jill LEFEBVRE married to John HOMERODEAN and currently living in Milton, Ontario.     |
