Tribute to Louise ;
What words can you use to describe such a fine woman? Hospitable, loving, encouraging, faithful, helpful, practical… the list goes on and on, doesn't it? As the mother of our family, she set a fine example. Louise was the oldest daughter of Ural and Ilma Troute, she and her two sisters, Georgia and Margery, grew up in the Meadowbank and Longview area. Louise spent some time in Nova Scotia as part of the Navy during World War II, and when she came home, she married Bob Miller. They began their married life at his place beside the Highwood River, and then moved to Turner Valley, where they raised many sheep and their three children, Laurel, John and Elizabeth. Louise loved to read, and was a good listener, which came in very handy because Bob was born a storyteller. Louise became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and found much comfort in Jehovah God's promise to restore this earth to paradise conditions, where the dead will be brought back to life. She attended funerals to comfort the living, but did not want a funeral for herself. As her family, we really appreciate the fine care and tender, kind concern that has been given to her by the loving people who work at Little Bow Continuing Care Centre in Carmangay. Thank you very much.
