• He immigrated from Ireland on board the Perfect arriving in Quebec City on November 8, 1800.

George married Margaret McEWEN, daughter of Rev. Robert McEWEN and Mary Margaret JAMES, on December 21, 1801 in York, York Co, Ontario, Canada.2

Children from this marriage were:

+ 6    i. Robert BELL was born in 1793 in , , , Ireland3 and died on November 20, 1877 in Brant Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada3 at age 84.

   7    ii. Gore BELL was born in 1805.1

   8    iii. Alice BELL was born in 1808.1

   9    iv. Catherine BELL was born in 1810.

   10    v. Ada BELL was born in 1813.1
