Obituary: Jacquelyn Jeanne (Beckett) Waggoner, 76
Jacquelyn "Jackie" Waggoner died Sept. 1, 2004, in a Denver hospital with her children at her side. She had struggled with several painful conditions.
Jackie was born to Joseph and Esther Roleke on April 2, 1928, in Bethany, Mo. She graduated from Colorado Women's College, and in 1948, married Lewis Raymond Beckett. They made Evergreen their home in a house they built on Forest Hill.
Lewis worked at the Bureau of Reclamation along with local resident Franklin J. Waggoner. He later worked at Martin Marietta with local resident Jack Wilson, who remains a treasured friend. Following Lew's untimely death in 1962, Jackie moved her son, daughter and mother to Solvang, Calif. In 1977, she married Frank Waggoner. He brought her back to Evergreen to live in an area she truly loved.
Jackie will be remembered by countless lifelong friends the world over. She is survived by her sister, Elaine Marcelli, who recently moved from Italy to Florida; her daughter, Deborah Jo Beckett, and her sons, Scott and Eric Andrews; her son, James Brent Beckett, his wife, Sharon, and Samantha, an 8-year-old angel. Additionally Jackie is survived by nieces Sally (Beckett) Hayatt, Nancy Walton and nephew David Beckett, brother-in-law Mel D. Beckett and his wife, Shirley.
Jackie will be interred with Lew at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contribute to a worthy cause of your choice. Jackie will be dearly missed.

Jacquelyn married Lewis Raymond BECKETT in 1948. Lewis died in 1962.

William married Mary Virgina BALL, daughter of Sam Hartwell BALL and Henry Weaver ANDERSON. Mary was born on May 24, 1913 in New Boston, Bowie, Texas, USA9 and died on November 29, 2007 in Cabot, Lonoke, Arkansas, USA9 aged 94.
