55. Lillie Pearl BELL (William John BELL22, Christena MOODY8, James1) was born on December 5, 1886 in Brant Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada, died on November 23, 1943 in Brant Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada aged 56, and was buried in Douglas Hill Cemetery Eden Grove, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada.

OBITUARY FOR LILLY PEARL BELL-LEASK
The funeral of Mrs. William Leask was held on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 25th, from the family residence, con 14, Greenock Twp., and was very largely attended by sorrowing friends and neighbours. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. Smythe of Westminster Presbyterian Church, who addressed a comforting message to the family and relatives. During the service Mrs. Walter Spong sang a solo, "Will the Circle be Unbroken?" with Mrs. Ogle Needham playing the organ accompaniment. The pallbearers were all neighbours of the deceased. Messers. Melvin Hetsler, David Lamb, John Kincaid, Bert Gray, Leslie Dalgarno and Ogle Needham. The beautiful floral tributes were carried by Jackie Watson, Morris Gray, Roy Atkinson and Wilfred Houston. Interment was in Douglas Hill Cemetery, Eden Grove.
Mrs. Leask was born on the 12th con. of Brant Twp., a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Jewett and William John Bell. Her maiden name was Lilly Pearl Bell and she was in 58th year. She attended Ellengowan School and on December 25th, 1906, she was married to Mr. Leask. The young couple immediately took up residence on lot 1 and the north half of lot 2, con 14, Greenock, where they had resided ever since. Besides her sorrowing husband, Mrs. Leask is survived by two sons and two daughters: Ivan of Stratford; (Jean) Mrs. Grant Clazie of Port Elgin; (Marjorie) Mrs. Ronald Slade of Kincardine Twp. and Gordon at home. She is also survived by three sisters: Mrs. Geo. Johnston of Glamis; Mrs. Wes Burns of Underwood and Mrs. Alex McArthur of Paisley.
Mrs. Leask had been in good health and only three days before the fatal heart attack on Nov. 23rd had motored to Milverton, where she attended the wedding of her eldest son Ivan. She had been an energetic and faithful worker with the Pinkerton Red Cross Society and was an indefatigable labourer on behalf of everything she believed to be for the good of her home community. A member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Paisley, Mrs. Leask carried her religious convictions and Christian ideals into her home and throughout her everyday life. She will be missed, not only by her family and relatives, but by a host of friends throughout the neighbourhood.

Lillie married William LEASK, son of George LEASK and Barbara Mary LAMB, on December 25, 1906 in Brant Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada.12 William was born on April 12, 1868 in Greenock Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada, died on September 17, 1954 in Greenock Twp, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada aged 86, and was buried in Douglas Hill Cemetery Eden Grove, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada.
