She was loved and cherished for by her dedicated caregiver and friend, Debbie Fletcher in the last 15 years of her life, and resided at the Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, Alberta for the last 10 years of life. Alberta had an uncanny memory for details and dates, which was displayed in her hobby of family history; she enjoyed preserving family connections through her avid letters and correspondence. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Her family would like to thank the many caregivers who were dedicated to her well being over the years.
