Rene's connection to Euphemia SAUNDERS is not proven. DNA evidence points to someone of French Canadian descent. Terry JENKINS is a close DNA match to Katherine WATSON (2nd cousin) and in an email suggested his grandmother could have been a SWEENEY or LEFEBVRE. SWEENEY could be be SOIGNE in Quebec. He was told his grandfather died in the Great War.
Terry JENKINS and Matt BAUDASSI (another DNA match to Kathy) have a common ancestor with Rene LEFEBVRE. I am currently trying to tie several other DNA matches to Rene.
