Cecilia Plantagenet was born on 20 March 1469 in Westminster Palace, Westminster, London, England. She was the daughter of Edward IV Plantagenet, King of England and Elizabeth Wydevill. She married John de Welles, 1st Viscount Welles, son of Sir Lionel de Welles and Margaret Beauchamp, between 25 November 1487 and 1 January 1488. She married Thomas Kyme between 13 May 1502 and January 1504. She died on 24 August 1507 at age 38 in Quarr Abbey, Isle of Wight, England. She was buried in Quarr Abbey, Isle of Wight.
Cecilia Plantagenet was invested as a Lady Companion, Order of the Garter (L.G.) in 1480. From before December 1487, her married name became Welles. From before January 1504, her married name became Kymbe.
Cicely married Ralph SCROPE 9th Baron Scrope of Masham about 1485. Marriage status: annulment. Ralph died about 1515.

John de Welles, 1st Viscount Welles was the son of Sir Lionel de Welles and Margaret Beauchamp. He was born after 1448. He married Cecilia Plantagenet, daughter of Edward IV Plantagenet, King of England and Elizabeth Wydevill, between 25 November 1487 and 1 January 1488. He died on 9 February 1499 in London, England.
John de Welles, 1st Viscount Welles was also known as John Welles. He gained the title of 1st Viscount Welles.1 He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.).
