She was predeceased, 9 long years ago, by her beloved husband, Don (Dr. D.B. Campbell). Mom/Grams(e)y was loved and will be missed by David, Marg, Jane, Ian and their families including her 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Raised with her McFarlane siblings (Grace, Bob, Anne) in Paisley ON, Frances went to Guelph where she proudly graduated as a registered nurse. In 1954, by then known as Vicki, she came with Don to Oakville where together they raised their "4 good kids", supported (and were supported by) St. John's United Church and OTMH, had many friends and played countless hands of bridge. And, together they travelled far and wide.

James H. Davison, 73, a 34 year resident of Royal Oak, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994 at William Beaumont hospital, Royal Oak. He was born Nov. 11, 1920 in Flint.
Mr. Davison served in the U. S. Army in World War II. He was a member of the Clawson Lions Club, Clawson-Troy Elks Club, VFW [Veterans of Foreign Wars] Acorn Post 1669 of Royal Oak, and SIBBA (Ship in a Bottle Builders of America).
He was retired from General Motors Corp., where he had been employed as a supervisor.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Martha (Marc) Andren of Rochester Hills and Ellen (Gregory) Monroe of Madison Heights; son James (Denise) of Troy; grandson, Riley; and sister, Jane (James) Tobias of Birmingham.
Visitation will be 2-9 today at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Clawson; services, 10 am Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Scherbarth, Our Shepherd Lutheran Church of Birmingham, officiating: burial, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer. Memorial donations may be made to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Clawson Lions Club.

Surviving are children, Robert, Jr. and wife, Linda of Grand Blanc, Thomas A. and wife, Nancy of Grosse Pointe, Joanne and husband, Jim Honea of Grand Blanc, John W. and wife, Kim of Flint; grandchildren, Ryan, Jason, Kristen, Andrea, Curt, Samantha, Sarah; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Brynn and Riley; sister-in-law, Gertrude Davison of Burton; numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill.

A wedding of local interest was solemnized at the parsonage in Milverton on Friday last, when one of Cargill's most popular young ladies, Miss Florence Metcalfe, only daughter of Mrs. Metcalfe and the late Mr. Jonathan Metcalfe, became the bride of Mr. John Watson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Watson of Eden Grove. The ceremony being performed by Rev. Huddleston, a former pastor of the local United Church, but now residing in Milverton. Both young people are well known here, the groom having been raised in the Eden Grove section and the bride who was born in Greenock, has for a number of years been connected with Bell Telephone Co. as an operator in the Cargill office and later in the Walkerton office, giving her best in both places where she was popular with the public on account of her pleasant, courteous manner. After the ceremony the wedding party and a number of friends partook of a sumptuous wedding dinner prepared by the Huddlestons for them. The happy couple left on short trip to Kitchener, Niagara Falls and Queenston. The many beautiful and useful gifts received show in a measure the esteem in which this young couple is held. To Mr. and Mrs. Watson we extend our best wishes for a long happy wedding life.
