John married Laurinda Winnie ORR. Laurinda was born in 1913,3 died on November 15, 1990 in Sudbury, Sudbury Dist, Ontario, Canada3 aged 77, and was buried in Kagawong, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.
Cronk, Laurinda (Winnie) of Massey passed away at Laurentian Hospital, Sudbury on November 15th, 1990 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late John Cronk (1984). Loving mother of Laura Mulville of Gravenhurst, Gladys (Mrs. Clifford Beland), Peggy Thibault, Mark (wife Florence) and del (wife Vie) all of Sudbury, Ross (wife Bonnie) of Clingmore, Chuch (wife Marilyn) of Gore Bay, Mary Ellen (Mrs. Ron Thompson) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Thomas and Billy. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Myrtle (Mrs. Stan Proctor of Webbwood and Betty Rusin of Copper Cliff. Dearly loved by Oscar Whalen of Massey. Rested at the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola/Massey, Saturday, November 17th, 1990 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and the Turner Funeral Home, Gore Bay, November 18th, 1990 from 10:30-12 noon. Funeral Service from Turner Funeral Home, Gore Bay, Sunday, November 18, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Ian Macdonald officiaitng with interment in Kagawong Cemetery. In loving memory of Noreen Annabelle Cronk, July 31, 1933 - July 23, 2000. Noreen Cronk, a resident of Gore Bay, and formerly of Billings Township, died at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Site on Sunday July 23, 2000 at the age of 66 years. She was born in Billings Township, daughter of the late Lee and Joyce (Cornellius) Brandow. Noreen had lived most of her life on the farm in Billings. before moving to Gore Bay three years ago. Noreen enjoyed embroidery, card games and especially Country and Western music. She will be missed by her family and friends, but many memories will be cherished. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Douglas and Susan Cronk of Kagawong, Elaine and Phillip Lalonde of Edmonton, AB., Beverly and Tim Lalond of Edmonton, AB. Loving grandmother of Michael Doussept, Joseph and Matthew Cronk and Joe and Katherine Lalonde. Step daughter of Jean Brandow of Gore Bay. Dear sister of Leta Howard of Gore Bay, Marion O'Brien of Manitowaning, Nellie Abernot of Nairn Centre, Joe and his wife Sheila Brandow of Ice Lake, and Lawrence and his wife Debbie Brandow of Guelph. Step sister of Gary, Ron, Ivan and Brenda Brandow, Ann Graham and Sandra Boyd. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother James Brandow and sister Betty-Jean Morrell. Friends may call at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, after 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26. The funeral service will be conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Gordon Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Diabetic Association or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
