Descendants of William CORMACK & Isabella ACHNACH

William and Isabella emigrated from Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Canada about 1856. They settled on Lot 31, Concession 14 of Brant Township, Bruce County, Ontario. Unfortunately William passed away about 1865 and by 1871 Isabella had relocated to Lot 6, Concession B of Elderslie Township on the Elora Road just south of the Village of Paisley. By 1901 she had retired from farming and moved into Paisley.

Andrew Bell "Andy" CORMACK (1930-2013) was a native of Paisley and lived there all hislife. He married Verna McGREGOR* and served on Paisley Town Council and was Reeve of the village for many years. Andy was a direct descendant of the captioned couple. See Andy's Pedigree Chart.
