Descendants of Donald McTAVISH and Mary McTAVISH

Donald and Mary's son Hugh married Ann CAMPBELL in Scotland and they emigrated to Upper Canada settling in Beckwith Township, Lanark County where they were living in 1851. Their daughter Mary Ann married Duncan McGREGOR in 1842. Their family were born in Beckwith Township and in the early 1860;s they relocated to Paisley, Bruce County where Duncan carried out his trade as a blacksmith.

David William "Bill"
KINCAID (1925-2003), born and raised in Greenock Township was a direct descendant of this family. Bill's mother was Elizabeth "Lizzy" LAMB*, a member of one of the principal families on our Home Page. See Bill's Pedigree Chart.
