Descendants of William CALHOUN and Jane CROSSLEY

William CALHOUN b.1782 and Jane CROSSLEY (this surname is in dispute) where born in County Tyrone, Ireland and emigrated to Upper Canada circa 1830. They apparently settled in King Township, York County where their son Charles John was born in 1873,
Charles moved north to Bruce County and settled on 100 acres, Lot 25, Concession 11 in Elderslie Township. Here he met and married the next door neighbour's daughter Elizabeth BELL in 1864. The CALHOUN's still farm on this property and several others in the today.
