Descendants of Roderick GLANCY & Bridget SCANLON

Roderick Glancy and his wife, Bridget Scanlon, left Sligo, Ireland in 1853, arriving in Upper Canada with at least three sons, Patrick, Michael and Rodger. They all settled on Consession A of Brant Township, Bruce County, Ontario, occupying Lots 11 and 12, SW of the Dunkeld Post Office.
The family eventually changed the spelling of their surname to CLANCY.
