Descendants of John KNOTT & Jane Margery LOUGHEED

John Knott and his wife Jane left Sligo, Ireland about 1843-44. destined for Chinguacousy Twp. Peel County, Ontario, Canada. Apparently they were accompanied by at least three of their children, James, William and Margaret. In 1847 they all relocated to Euphrasia Twp, Grey County, Ontario. Their son Hugh and his family left Ireland for Euphrasia Twp. in 1861.


Barbara BREADNER married David CORMACK, a Paisley native, and has lived all her married life in the village. Barb is a direct descendant of the captioned couple, see her Pedigree Chart.
