His entire life was spent on the 14th of Greenock, with exception of a few years residence in Pinkerton. He was twice married, his first wife being Frances Roumey, who passed away shortly after the birth of their daughter, Vivian, now Mrs. Wellington Ferris of Glammis. Later he married Jean MacKay, who survives with a son, James, on the home farm on the 14th of Greenock, and a daughter, Mrs. Harold Alexander of Kitchener.
Mr. Flett was highly esteemed among his neighbors, being a man of industry integrity and ability. During his lifetime he had been a kindly and thoughtful neighbor, generous in his desire to help others.
