Descendants of James LEASK & Isobel WATT

George LEASK, son of James and Isobel worked the family farm called Hillhead of Fechil near Ellon, Aberdeenshire. In 1851 he had a domestic called Barbara LAMB working at his farm. When Barbara emigrated to Canada she had with her a son. Alex and family lore says that "George LEASK being an honerable man followed Barbara to North America to marry her." which he did and settled on Lot 1, Concession 15, Greenock Twp. across the Base Line from his in-laws, the LAMB Homestead.

Robert James Jim LEASK,was born and raised on the Base Line of Greenock Township and currently lives on the home farm.
