Descendants of Jacques L'ARRIVEE dit DELISLE & Renee LAPORTE

The captioned couple were both born in France and emigrated to New France irca 1660. They apparently married in Quebec prior to 1665 and had a family of at least four children. Their son Jacques 1671-1732 married Barbe PERRIN.
Jacques and Barbe's ggggg grandson, Joseph "Rene" LEFEBVRE apparently had a fleeting relationship with Euphemia SAUNDERS resulting in a daughter Jean being born out of wedlock in Port Elgin on November 24, 1915. Jean was adopted by Daunt and Louisa METCALFE of Greenock Township, Bruce County and they named their chosen daughter Florence Mae METCALFE.
