On the road again at 6:45 am MDT, temp 3'C.

Our wildlife sightings on this strech consist of one hawk, one duck, one deer and one Buffalo or is that a Bison, the debate goes on.

Edmonton during the 8 am rush was uneventful as we headed north to the Peace River District

After having lunch in Valleyview we reached Dawson Creek, Mile "0" of the Alaska Highway, at 2 pm. It was sunny and 18'C.

We took a detour from Dawson through Chetwynd to Moberly Lake since Case had spent a couple of weeks there in 1961 and wanted to reminisce Funny how things had changed in only 48 years.
