Back to the prairies again
We left Strathmore at 6:30 am, it was sunny and 10'C. In Moose Jaw at 12:15 and it was 26'C.

We were driving south from Moose Jaw on Hwy #39 towards the US border when I chose to snap a picture of a lone grain elevator. As we came closer both Ken and I said out loud "Dog River!" Sure enough, there was the Gas Bar across the road. We stopped in Rouleau, the town's actual name, and had lunch at Rosie's and signed the guest book.. The temp was 26'C and it was sunny with some high clouds.

Crossed the border into North Dakota at about 5 pm. We had heavy rain and lightening for about 10 min and it was over. Arrived in Bismarck ND at about 8:30 and checked into a Select Inn.
