On June 4th Ken left Don Mills with a full tank of gas and his Enclave packed with "goodies" from Ontario for the Pearson family in Whtehorse. He traveled to Paisley, Ontario to pick up his co-pilot Case.

When the car arrived in Paisley there was hardly room for his co-pilot's shaving kit.

But we got it all in and at 6 am the next morning we were off.

Aboard the Chi-Cheemaun at 9 am out of Tobermory heading for South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island..

Ken, the intepid navigator always studing his maps.

We arrived in Wawa, welcomed by the Wawa Goose, at 6pm and checked into the Wawa Inn.

Our first Moose sighting was in Wawa.

Up at 5 am, (too excited to sleep). We had frost overnight and it was 4'C as we left Paisley at 6:30 to catch the 8:50 ferry from Tobermory. The two hour crossing to South Baymouth was calm, sunny..
