Sunrise 4:30 am this morning and Sunset 11:30 pm

Ken & Case along with Georgi & Finn left Whitehorse at 9:30 am for Skagway Alaska, temp was 8'C, When we turned off the Alaska Hwy and turned south we ran into low clouds and scattered rain. We arrived in Skagway at 11:00 and it was raining so we found a nice restaurant and had lunch. After lunch it cleared up and we had a beatiful day until we got about half way home and hit rain again.

Skagway was and still is a major transportation hub encompasing cruise ships, tour buses and the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway. These cruise ships hold on average 2,500 passengers each, there were three in port therefore 7,500 tourists flooded the town at once.
Can you guess what the red and black piece of machinery that Ken is inspecting? ........................(Click here)
