Descendants of Willem Pietersz MULLER & Lijsbeth van den HEUVEL
This Descendant Journal contains all the descendants of Willem Pietersz MULLER born circa 1640 & Lijsbeth van den HEUVEL born 1662 that I have been able to identify to-date. Willem and Lijsbeth were married about 1682 in Callantsoog, Noord-Holland where they had at least eight children that I am aware of. Willwm and Lisbeth's son Teunis MULLER, married Aachtje BONTES about 1723 and they had at least six children all born in Callanrsoog, Noord-Holland. After Aachtje died in 1734 Teunis remarried Trintje PRINS in 1735. At this point Teunis apparently changed his name and had at least five more hildren with the surname MULDER. Their daughter Grietje MULDER, our direct ancestor married Teuis BRUIN.

The picture below depicts The Battle of Callantsoog (27 August 1799) which followed the amphibious landing by a British invasion force under Lieutenant-General Sir Ralph Abercromby near Callantsoog in the course of the Anglo-Russian invasion of Holland of 1799. Despite strong opposition by troops of the Batavian Republic under Lieutenant-General Herman Willem Daendels the British troops established a bridgehead and the Dutch were forced to retreat.
