Descendants of Jan ZWAKMAN & Antje RIDDER


This Descendant Journal contains all the descendants of Jan ZWAKMAN (1688-1750) and Antje RIDDER (1734-1815) that I have been able to identify to-date. Jan and Antje were married in Schoorl, Noord-Holland, Netherlands on January 1, 1762, they had at least one child, Sijmon. Sijmon ZWAKMAN (1769-1861) married Cornelia HOGENDONK in Schoorl, Noord-Holland, and had at least four children that I am aware of.. Their great great grandsdaughter Neeltje ZWAKMAN is the subject of the Pedigree Chart below.

Case VANDERPLAS was born just across the street, left of the picture, in 1943.

This Pedigree Chart is a portion of a larger chart encompassing all the known Ancestors of  Cornelis Jan 'Case' VANDERPLAS, son of Jan Cornelis 'John' van der PLAS and Christina 'Stien' GUTTER. He was born in Schoorl. NH, and emigrated to Canada in 1949. Case maried Katherine WATSON and they live in Oakville, Ontario.

This branch is on Case's paternal side and represents the ZWAKMAN Ancestors. Neeltje ZWAKMAN, the subjrct of the Pedigree Chart below, was Case's great grandmother.
