Descendants of Cornelis Reijersz de BOER

This Descendant Journal contains all the descendants of Cornelis Reijersz de BOER (1641-1723) that I have been able to identify to-date. I have had no luck thus far in identifing Cornelis' wife but have found two sons , Adriaan and Dirk, both born in de Zijpe, Noord-Holland. Dirk, our anstetor, apparently went by the surname DUIJNBOER as did his son Jan. Jan's son Maarten Jansz (1723-1781) reverted back to de BOER. Dirk's great great grandson Dirk Maartensz de BOER (1740-1824) is the subject of the first Pedigree Chart below.

Zijpe, see map below was a municipality in the province of North Holland. In 2013, Zijpe merged with Schagen. 'De Zijpe' consisted of the following towns and villages: Burgerbrug, Burgervlotbrug, Callantsoog, Groote Keeten, Oudesluis, Petten, Schagerbrug, Sint Maartensbrug, Sint Maartensvlotbrug, 't Zand.

Cornelis Jan 'Case' VANDERPLAS was born 1943 to Jan 'John' van der PLAS and Christina 'Stien' GUTTER in Schoorl. Noord-Holland, The Netherlands. In 1949 the family emigrated to Canada and Case was raised in Paisley, Ontario, Canada. He is a direct descendant of the captioned couple. This branch is on Case's maternal side and represents his de BOER ancestors.
