1. Cornelis Jan "Case" VANDERPLAS, son of Jan Cornelis "John" van der PLAS and Christina "Stien" GUTTER, was born on December 8, 1943 in Schoorl, , Noord-Holland, Netherlands. He is usually called Case.
Case worked as a Facilities Manager for the Royal Bank of Canada and later as a Project Management Cosultant. Upon retiring his hobby in Genealogy has become an obssession and only leaves his computer to hike a couple of days a week.
Case married Katherine Louise WATSON, daughter of John Marshall "Jack" WATSON and Florence Mae METCALFE, on June 24, 1967 in Eden Grove, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada. Katherine was born on November 29, 1946 in Walkerton, Bruce Co, Ontario, Canada.
Kathy was a school teacher until her first child was born when she started her real job of housewife, child rearer, chauffeur and in her 'free' time volunteering at school and the Senior's Centre.
