Unfortunately Roy's mother Margaret Agnes McGUIGAN died in 1927 when he was only eight months old. Apparently Roy's father G. A. CHAMBERS arranged to have Ida Louise BINGGELI be Roy's nanny and assist in his upbringing. G. A. married Ida in 1930 and she became Roy's stepmother.It appears by the sequence of events that Ida may have arranged to have her stepson Roy marry Elsa L'AMBRICHE.
