Weighing the anchor ....
Several of us, led by Tony Oxford and a local lad, hiked to the top
of The Friar.
The highest point to the left of the OE.
One of our more chalenging hikes
We're not there yet. The Friar is to the left.
More fantastic vistas behind us. The local guide said he comes up here often in the summer to pick berries and in the fall to hunt partridge.

Back down with the help of a rope provided by the locals to facilitate the tourists.
